Alf. You may not have been my biological grandparent but I saw you as a grandad. I may not have seen you often, but I did think about you a lot. Upon hearing you had passed away, a robin landed in my garden. That's when I knew that you were in a better place and pain-free. The robin has been coming everyday since, getting more and more cheekier, so I know you are definitely back to your normal self, wherever that may be. You will be missed dearly and I'm so glad to have had you in my life. Helen xx
